My Super Foods Smoothie...
If you have ever started your morning with a smoothie you know how yummy they are. It's like drinking a milkshake for breakfast. WOW so delicious. I am going to breakdown why it is so important to drink a smoothie for breakfast especially if you are having hormone issues or are trying to conceive a healthy baby. Even if you aren't, I drink this one every day for optimal health and vitality. Once you know why to drink a smoothie, I am going to give you my favorite hormone balancing green smoothie. I hope you add this into your morning routine to start your day off right with tons of energy, a full belly (till lunch) and more time since making a smoothie only takes about 5 minutes.
1. Drinking your breakfast- It is easier for your body to digest and assimilate nutrients from liquid since it doesn't have to work so hard at breaking down solid food. Therefore you can get the most vitamins, minerals and nutrients all in one medium size glass.
2. Hide your veggies- Its really easy to hide lots of veggies in a smoothie. I put spinach, avocado, kale, celery and more in mine. That way I know I am starting my day with a ton of vitamins and minerals which gives me amazing piece of mind.
3. Tastes like dessert- Have you ever made a really yummy smoothie with cherries, avocado or some other sweet fruit and thought wow this tastes just like a milkshake. That is exactly what this smoothie tastes like but its healthy.

The fruits and berries that are used to prepare these drinks serve as excellent companions for keeping you healthy and feeling cooler on a hot summer morning. Fertility boosting/hormone balancing smoothie-
1/2 cup organic frozen spinach
1/2 organic frozen avocado
1 cup organic frozen cherries
1/2 cup organic frozen raspberries
1 tbsp MCT oil
1/2 tsp maca root
1/2 tsp matcha powder
2 tbsp pea or rice organic protein powder
2-4 ice cubes
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond or coconut milk
Blend in a high speed blender and serve in a pretty glass with a straw
